ECIJA strengthens its legaltech division in LATAM with the incorporation of Daniel Acevedo
ECIJA has announced the incorporation of Daniel Acevedo as a partner in its legaltech division for Latin America, aiming to accelerate the regional deployment of services in automation, artificial intelligence, and digitization of legal, tax, and financial departments.
With over a decade of experience leading digital transformation projects in multinational companies in the region, Acevedo will drive the expansion of ECIJA Tech's services, covering consulting and implementation of legaltech solutions (contract life cycle management, litigation and compliance, etc.), legal design initiatives, innovation, managed legal services, and digital restructuring of legal departments.

Before joining ECIJA Tech, Acevedo was Associate Partner and leader of Tax Technology Transformation at EY Colombia, and Global Director of Product Marketing at vLex. Previously, he led the Legal Operations Services practice for EY in Latin America and held leadership roles in strategic projects in top-tier law firms in Colombia and Mexico. Recognized by multiple publications and organizations as one of the most influential global leaders in legal innovation and technology, he received the prestigious FastCase50 Award in 2023 as one of the 50 most prominent thinkers in legaltech worldwide.
