ECIJA Ecuador to attend RENPOWER Andes 2026

ECIJA Ecuador took part in RENPOWER Andes 2026 – Ecuador and Peru, one of the leading regional conferences on renewable energy, energy storage and energy security, organised by Euroconvention Global.

The firm was represented by its partner Álvaro Ordóñez, a member of the Energy and Natural Resources practice, who spoke at the session “Distributed Generation and Self-Consumption: Competitive Project Models for C&I Clients and Off-Grid Solutions”.

During the panel, topics related to energy self-consumption, distributed generation, sustainable mining, ESG criteria and the opportunities offered by energy solutions for commercial and industrial clients were analysed. Trends and challenges linked to the energy transition and the development of sustainable projects in the Andean region were also addressed.

The event brought together authorities, investors, project developers, business leaders and international experts to discuss energy infrastructure, financing, innovation and energy security, against a backdrop of growing demand for sustainable and efficient solutions.
