ECIJA grows in Latin America with two new signings in Guatemala and Dominican Republic
ECIJA continues with its growth strategy in Latin America with two new signings. They are Edvin Montoya as new partner in its Guatemala office and Félix Jáquez in its Dominican Republic office, who come to strengthen strategic areas for the firm such as technology, telecommunications and digital economy in the region.
Félix Jáquez, who holds a PhD in Law and a master's degree in telecommunications and ICT law from the Carlos III University of Madrid, has led legislative reforms and advised the country's main operators.
Edvin Montoya has more than 23 years of experience and brings a solid background in civil, commercial and tax law, as well as in dispute resolution and international arbitration. His appointment as an expert before the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague and his advice to large groups in the telecommunications, energy and banking sectors strengthen ECIJA's international projection in Central America.
