ECIJA advises Par Producciones on an HBO series

ECIJA has advised Par Producciones on the development of the HBO series "Los asesinos de Colosio", a production that examines one of the most significant political events in recent Mexican history: the assassination of Luis Donaldo Colosio.

ECIJA's advice has covered the full range of legal issues associated with audiovisual production, including the negotiation and drafting of service, production, exploitation, and distribution agreements.

Additionally, the team has advised on information law and freedom of expression, with special attention to potential conflicts related to rights of honour, privacy, and personal image, which are particularly relevant in content based on real events and public figures.
