She has over 20 years of experience advising companies in strategic sectors.
She is the founding partner of Vanegas Morales Consultors, where she has led the design and implementation of innovative legal services related to personal data, consumer law, and digital products and services. Her practice has established itself as a reference in regulation and strategic support for companies in sectors such as finance, health, education, fintech, aerospace, and insurance.
In her professional career, she has held positions of high responsibility, such as Legal Director of Computec S.A. (now Experian Colombia), where she led projects in financial consumer protection and development of new products, also participating in working groups that led to Law 1581 of 2012. Previously, at the Superintendence of Finance of Colombia, she assumed the Legal Directorate, leading the areas of Doctrine, Appeals, and Judicial Representation, designing strategies for cases of illegal fundraising, promoting financial inclusion initiatives, and presiding over the Committee of Positions of legal representatives and members of the board of supervised entities.
Her experience also extends to the business sector, having held executive positions at the Social Group Foundation and at Bolívar Insurance, where she strengthened corporate practice and capital markets through advice on contracting, bond issuance, and judicial defense.
Her leadership has been recognized in international rankings: Chambers Latin America (Band 1 in TMT 2025, Band 2 between 2020–2024), Best Lawyers (lawyer of the year in Telecommunications and Technology in 2023, expert in Privacy and Data Security in 2021–2022) and Legal500 (Leading Individual in TMT, 2024).
Additionally, she actively participates in guilds and associations in the sector: Director of the Latam Committee of PrivacyRules (since 2020), Co-chair of the Colombia Chapter of the IAPP (since 2014), co-founder of ADAPRI (2020) and member of the Decision and First Instance Chamber of the AMV (since 2013).
