Sofia Rothes Barbosa

She works in the new Insurance and Civil Liability practice area, with special emphasis on advising injured parties - individuals or legal entities - on matters related to civil liability arising from accidents. He has extensive experience in the monitoring of proceedings, both contentious and pre-litigation, covering various branches of civil liability, such as automobiles, accidents at work, liability for events related to things or property, and life, among others. Until December 2023, he worked in the area of Litigation and Arbitration.

She concluded her internship at Abílio Aranha e Associados in 2000, where she remained as a lawyer until 2004, working mainly in the litigation area, with a focus on the insurance sector. In 2003, she started an external partnership with Anselmo Vaz, Afra e Associados, a partnership that lasted until 2014.

In 2004, she joined Lencastre Advogados, where he practised law in several areas of law. In 2009, he began to develop specific expertise in combating insurance fraud, consolidating his technical and practical knowledge in this area.

She has been part of Antas da Cunha Ecija since 2022.
