Paola is a partner with over 20 years of experience in national and international tax law, and an expert in energy and mergers and acquisitions

Paola Robalino Rosero holds a Doctorate in Jurisprudence and a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Sciences from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, and an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom.

She served as Vice President of the Ecuadorian Institute of Tax Law (IEDT) during the periods 2011–2015 and 2022–2024, and was an alternate member of the Board of Directors of the Ecuadorian Internal Revenue Service (SRI) between 2005 and 2011.

Paola was the National Rapporteur for Ecuador at the XXVIII Latin American Tax Law Conference (Mexico, 2015) on the topic "BEPS in Ecuador," and again at the XXX Conference (2024) on "Artificial Intelligence and the Challenges of Taxation."

She has extensive experience advising companies across various sectors and is frequently invited to speak at conferences and publish on national and international tax matters. She has been recognized for several years by Legal 500, Chambers, and Leaders League as a leading lawyer in tax law in Ecuador.
