Matheus Puppe

Matheus is licensed to practice law in Brazil, Germany and Portugal. He has extensive experience in compliance, data protection, digital law, artificial intelligence, Web3, cryptocurrencies, tokenisation, intellectual property, government relations, biotechnology and life sciences, as well as international contracts and structuring. His practice is notable for a cross-disciplinary and technical approach, with a comparative perspective on global regulatory frameworks.

He is currently an active member of the Integrity Committee of the Judiciary (CINT) of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) in Brazil, and is a member of both the Institute of Brazilian Lawyers (IAB) and the Digital Law and Artificial Intelligence Commissions. He has consulted on cryptoasset regulation and ESG compliance projects for governments and international bodies, including initiatives in Russia and Malaysia.

As an international speaker, he has lectured in Brazil, Portugal, Russia, China, Italy, Germany, Africa and Hong Kong. He is the author and co-author of 11 books specialising in data protection, compliance, cryptocurrency regulation and law and technology, in addition to multiple relevant academic and professional publications.
