Marina specializes in corporate governance and sustainability, advising listed companies on governance, compliance, and capital markets

With a strong track record in advising on governance systems, transparency, shareholders’ meetings, boards of directors, and board committees, Marina has led key projects related to the governance of matters such as sustainability, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and compliance. She has also advised institutional investors and asset managers, as well as in dealings with the Spanish Securities and Exchange Commission (CNMV) and other supervisory authorities. Her experience also includes corporate transactions and structural modifications, drafting high-impact legal opinions and reports.

Marina is also a regular contributor to legal and financial media and journals, sharing her expertise and insight on corporate governance and sustainability issues in the business world.

Marina has participated in the following transactions:

  • Advised FCC on the spin-off of its real estate and cement businesses for €1.596 billion, and advised Inmocemento, the beneficiary of the spin-off, on its IPO valued at €1.933 billion.
  • Advised Liberbank on its €1.924 billion merger with Unicaja Banco in 2021.
  • Advised Banca Cívica on its €976 million merger by absorption by CaixaBank in 2012.
