Lilia has an outstanding track record in tax law, international taxation and legal structuring for national and international clients. Before joining ECIJA as a partner in the Panama office, she developed her career at global firms such as BDO and Payless ShoeSource, where she led tax planning, tax compliance and corporate reorganisation projects in sectors such as energy, transport, technology and consumer goods.
Her professional approach combines technical rigour with a strategic vision focused on tax efficiency and the optimisation of business structures. Lilia advises on international taxation, transfer pricing, cross-border structures, tax risk management and regulatory compliance for regional and multinational groups. Her legal and financial training—as a lawyer and chartered accountant—enables her to offer comprehensive advice, especially in complex transactions and multi-jurisdictional projects.
Lilia is an active member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the Association of Chinese Panamanian Professionals (APROCHIPA).
