Juan Pablo Cortés

He has a solid background and more than three years of experience in the labour area. His practice focuses on the review and drafting of a wide range of labour documents (contracts, annexes, terminations, dismissal letters, internal regulations, among others) and litigation before labour courts and labour collection courts, advising national and international companies. In addition, he has experience in civil litigation and arbitration.

He joined ECIJA Otero in July 2023. Previously, he worked as a lawyer at CYBS Abogados, was a solicitor at Barros y Errázuriz Abogados and an intern at the Arbitration and Mediation Centre of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, in addition to having been an assistant professor of Philosophical Foundations of Law and Civil Law.

• Law Degree, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2021).
• Pursuing International Master's Degree in Football Law, Sports Law Institute (programme endorsed by Universidad Austral, Buenos Aires).
