Jorge Araya is a corporate lawyer with more than 20 years of experience, combining tax expertise, business background and a strategic approach to complex transactions
He has more than 20 years of experience in corporate and tax advice, having advised domestic and foreign companies in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, tax planning and corporate compliance.
Prior to joining ECIJA, he was a founding partner of A&M Abogados, a partner in the corporate area at Porte & Canales Abogados y Consultores, and a senior lawyer at EY Chile, where he developed a strong legal-tax practice.
Jorge has also held institutional leadership roles, highlighting his role as president of the Chilean Rugby Federation between 2015 and 2019. He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association and his background represents a strategic asset to further consolidate ECIJA's presence in the Chilean and Latin American legal market.
