Javier Sabido Guerra
ManagerJavier Sabido is Legal Manager in the Intellectual Property, Entertainment and New Technologies area at ECIJA Chile.
He has extensive experience in providing legal advice to production companies, artists, technology companies and rights holders, both national and international, in matters related to copyright, trademarks, contracts and audiovisual regulation.
Throughout his career, he has represented clients in the registration and defence of intellectual property rights, as well as in the negotiation and drafting of production, co-production, assignment and content licensing contracts. He is admitted to practice in Chile and Spain.
He has advised national and international companies in the management of rights over audiovisual and musical works, and has led strategies for the resolution of disputes related to the exploitation and public communication of content. He has also represented clients before authorities such as the National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI). His practice is characterised by a comprehensive approach, combining the legal protection of intangible assets with a strategic understanding of the creative and technological industries.
