Jaime has over 18 years of professional experience in the practice of law, specialising in Civil Law, Litigation and General Practice.

He studied law at the Universidad del Desarrollo in Chile. He was awarded his law degree in 2007. In November 2007 he received the "Best Alumni Award" from the Universidad del Desarrollo and the best graduate of the Law Degree.

In April 2004 he received the Roberto Dávila Díaz Award for the graduate with the highest grade point average of his class.
