Guillermo is a partner at ECIJA Costa Rica and a leading advisor in corporate, real estate, and energy law, driving strategic transactions and investment projects in Costa Rica and Central America
He leads the Real Estate & Urban Planning, Corporate, and Mergers & Acquisitions practices and is Co-Director of the Energy practice, with over 25 years of experience advising national and international clients. Guillermo has led multidisciplinary teams in cross-border operations, including mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, asset transactions, and corporate structuring.
He has a distinguished track record in real estate and energy projects, leading the development of major commercial and residential complexes, as well as renewable energy projects. He also serves on the boards of private companies and non-profit organizations in Costa Rica.
