Gorka Goenechea

Gorka Goenechea has a distinguished career in litigation and arbitration, leading the legal management of complex judicial and arbitral disputes in sectors such as construction, corporate litigation, inheritance, and finance. Additionally, he has extensive experience in arbitration-related litigation, including annulment, enforcement, and jurisdictional challenges of arbitral awards.

He holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Navarra (cum laude), with a thesis on arbitrators' independence and impartiality. He serves as an arbitrator in various institutions (ICC, TAB) and has represented clients in arbitrations before CEA, ICC, CIMA, CAM, and others.

He is a member of the Training Committee of the Barcelona Arbitration Court and a delegate of the Spanish Committee of the ICC in the ICC Global Commission on Arbitration & ADR. Since 2021, he has been an associate professor of Corporate Law and Arbitration at Universitat Abat Oliba CEU and has delivered masterclasses at institutions such as the University of Lima.
