Gabriela is a partner at ECIJA Ecuador, specializing in intellectual property and mediation, with extensive experience in conflict management

Gabriela Balseca is a partner at ECIJA – GPA with a solid track record in intellectual property and alternative dispute resolution. She is a certified mediator by the International Mediation Institute (IMI) and has been recognized as one of Ecuador’s leading mediators by Leaders League since 2021.

Her practice focuses on mediation and conflict management in the corporate and commercial sectors. She has served as a mediator for the Quito Chamber of Commerce, FEDEXPOR, CIAM, and Pactum Dispute Resolution Consulting. Gabriela has also taught at Universidad de los Hemisferios and Universidad San Francisco de Quito.

She is currently a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), where she holds the position of Diversity and Inclusion Officer of the Mediation Committee, and she serves as Ecuador’s representative to the International Forum of Mediators (FIMEP).

Gabriela has been a speaker at numerous national and international events and has been recognized for her excellence in mediation by the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Quito Chamber of Commerce.
