Francisca Montenegro

Senior Associate

Francisca is a lawyer specialised in intellectual property and technology law.

She has more than 10 years of experience in the protection of intangible assets and supporting companies in digital transformation processes.

She began her career at a Copyright Management Entity (EGDPI), where she specialised in the collective management of rights, entertainment law, and international projects aimed at promoting and studying intellectual property. Subsequently, she has focused her practice on advising companies on integrating disruptive technologies and adapting their business models to digital environments, encompassing the structuring of collaboration agreements in R&D, managing research outcomes, and protecting derived innovations.

She combines her professional work with teaching in the Master's in Industrial Property, Intellectual Property, Competition, and New Technologies at the PONS Foundation and ISDE, as well as at the International Centre for Photography and Cinema, and in other specialised programmes, where she shares her experience at the intersection of intellectual property and new technologies.
