Felipe González

He has over five years of experience advising national and international companies in the areas of technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), privacy, cybersecurity, and personal data protection.

He holds a law degree from Universidad de los Hemisferios in Ecuador, and two master's degrees in law: an LLM in International Business Law (IE Law School, 2015) and an LLM in LegalTech (IE Law School, 2019). He also completed an academic exchange program at the National University of Singapore focused on non-renewable resources law and TMT, and a Legal Project Management program at IE Law School.

Felipe has played a key role in legislative processes in Ecuador, including his participation in discussion panels organized by the National Assembly for the drafting of the Personal Data Protection Bill. He has also led the implementation of the law for numerous local and international companies.
