Esperanza is an expert lawyer in data protection, technology, and privacy

Throughout her career, Esperanza has led regulatory compliance projects regarding personal data, advising on artificial intelligence, biometrics, big data, cookies, adtech, information security, and complex data exchange agreements. She has served as an external Data Protection Officer for numerous companies and has participated in sanctioning procedures before control authorities, both national and European.

Her experience includes advising on the valuation of intangibles, commercial operations, due diligence, e-commerce, cybersecurity, and privacy in the workplace. She has also managed audits for public and private entities in compliance with current data protection and information security regulations.

She balances her professional activity with teaching at universities and business schools in Spain and Ibero-America. She is the author of numerous publications, a regular collaborator in media outlets, and an active participant in mentoring initiatives, pro bono work, and the promotion of female leadership.
