Christian is the Managing Partner of the TMT, Privacy, and Data Protection department at ECIJA Ecuador. Christian has an outstanding track record in providing legal counsel to companies in strategic sectors, leading projects related to technology law, data protection, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies such as blockchain and the Internet of Things.
Since the enactment of the Organic Law on Personal Data Protection in Ecuador, he has led its implementation in over 100 organizations across the country. He has also participated in drafting the regulation of this law and in the development of technological tools for data protection in both public and private entities.
Christian also serves as a full-time professor in master’s and diploma programs at institutions such as Universidad San Francisco de Quito, Universidad Tecnológica Empresarial de Guayaquil, and Universidad de las Américas. He is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and is recognized for his ability to integrate technological innovation into legal practice.
