Carlos is a leading lawyer in labor law and business legal advisory, with a solid track record at both national and international levels

He is a labor law specialist with over 15 years of experience advising companies on employment relations, risk prevention, and regulatory compliance. Before joining ECIJA, he was part of the labor law teams of prestigious firms such as Uría Menéndez, PPU (Santiago de Chile), Hogan Lovells, López-Ibor, and Martínez-Echevarría, where he gained a broad perspective on employment law across multiple jurisdictions.

In addition to his legal practice, Carlos has developed a distinguished academic career. He has served as an adjunct professor in the Law degree at IE Law School and has collaborated in various academic initiatives within the institution. He has also been a professor in the Master’s Program for Admission to the Bar at IEB for over 10 years, training new generations of labor law professionals.

Carlos is a member of the Madrid Bar Association, the Spanish Forum of Labor Lawyers (FORELAB), and the European Employment Lawyers Association, actively participating in initiatives to advance labor law in Spain and Europe.
