Angelo holds a degree in commercial engineering from the Universidad Laica Vicente Rocafuerte in Guayaquil and has a solid track record of more than 28 years in auditing, accounting, finance, consulting and tax planning. His professional experience includes comprehensive advice to national and foreign companies in the commercial, industrial, banking, retail, export, real estate and services sectors, with interventions in both Ecuador and Bolivia.
He has actively participated in multiple specialised training programmes in tax law and international accounting. In 2016, he completed an intensive course in International Tax Law and Transfer Pricing at the Austral University of Buenos Aires, and in 2017 he completed the full programme in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS and IFRS for SMEs). In 2019, he deepened his knowledge on the treatment of double taxation treaties in a programme at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral.
He has also been part of the diploma programme in Essential Notions of Tax Law and International Accounting Standards offered by PwC - Bolivia, and has a Diploma in Customs Law and Technique from the Universidad del Pacífico - Escuela de Negocios de Guayaquil.
Currently, Angelo is qualified as a tax expert before the National Council of the Judiciary, which reinforces his position as a technical reference in tax litigation and compliance strategies.
