Alejandro Díaz

Principal Associate

Alejandro is a lawyer specializing in intellectual property rights and legal advice in the entertainment industry.

Throughout his career, he has advised companies in the fields of publishing, music, performing arts, podcasts, and particularly, the audiovisual industry. He is an expert in legal support during the production, financing and exploitation process of content and entertainment programs, including necessary contracting, review of the chain of title (chain of title), rights clearance, and structuring funding and marketing pathways.

Alejandro is also specialized in the application and management of public funding for the audiovisual sector and in the administrative procedures related to production, such as the nationality of the work, international co-productions, age ratings and cost recognition.

He combines his professional practice with teaching in postgraduate programs on intellectual property at institutions such as the Higher Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE) and the International University of Valencia (VIU). Since 2022, he has been the Deputy Secretary of the State Association of Cinema (AECINE).
