We are looking for you! We want you to join #EcijaTeam as a lawyer in the area of Litigation and Arbitration in our Madrid office.
Requirements:
- Lawyer with between 3 and 5 years of experience in international arbitration and also in civil and commercial litigation.
- Proven experience in the global involvement in arbitration proceedings under the rules of international institutions, mainly the ICC; as well as in the drafting of the Terms of Reference and/or First Procedural Order and Timetable of Proceedings and familiarity with international arbitration practices such as the IBA rules.
- Experience in all phases of the proceedings: definition of case strategy, selection of arbitrators, preparation of pleadings, preparation of witness statements and review of complex expert reports, as well as experience in the preparation of witnesses and experts ( mock hearings) and practice of cross-examination. trial) and practice cross-examination and other evidentiary hearing issues.
- Experience in bringing an action for annulment of the award, recognition of theagainst the award, recognition of foreign awards and enforcement of awards in general would be an asset.
- High level of autonomy in the conduct of the proceedings, proactivity, analytical skills, teamwork skills, results orientationteam player, results-oriented and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A very high level of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
