Rubén Casado

He has more than nine years of experience in software engineering, Linux system administration, and cloud architecture design for companies in various sectors. Throughout his career, he has led projects involving cloud migration, infrastructure automation, and cost optimisation in AWS, combining a solid technical vision with the integration of compliance and security requirements.

Rubén heads up the EDS Cloud line, aimed at companies seeking to modernise and strengthen their technological infrastructure, reduce operating costs and ensure compliance with regulations and security standards. He has worked closely with development, security and legal teams to design scalable, secure cloud solutions that are aligned with the European regulatory framework, especially in critical high-availability environments.

His experience allows him to provide a comprehensive view of the infrastructure lifecycle, from design and automation to monitoring, continuous improvement and technology risk management.

Experience

• Deloitte Spain (CyberSoc) – More than 6 years as a backend and cloud architect, participating in advanced cybersecurity projects, threat detection and deployment of secure infrastructures in AWS and Azure
• NTT Data – Software Engineer, contributing to the development of scalable and secure backend solutions, applying DevOps best practices and agile methodologies in critical high-availability environments.
• Mubawab (technology start-up) – Software Engineer in a high-growth environment, implementing performance improvements, automation and continuous deployment, supporting platform scaling and cloud infrastructure modernisation.
